A Prospective Approach to Implementation Readiness

Evidence-to-Implementation Research (EIR™) is a methodology developed by Lilis Medical to prospectively assess the readiness of a receiving health ecosystem for the introduction of an evidence-informed innovation and generate actionable readiness intelligence to inform its implementation.

EIR™ focuses specifically on the receiving health ecosystem—the interconnected conditions within the environment expected to receive and integrate an innovation. These may include governance, financing, workforce capability, policy and regulatory readiness, community preparedness, operational capacity, data infrastructure and stakeholder ownership.

By assessing the receiving ecosystem prospectively or concurrent with innovation introduction, EIR™ identifies readiness conditions, gaps and dependencies that can inform implementation decisions and targeted ecosystem strengthening, supporting the absorption, adoption, integration and sustainability of innovations in routine practice.

EIR™ applies a prospective, iterative approach to understanding how evidence and innovations move toward real-world use. The Innovation Translation Pathway™ brings together readiness assessment, stakeholder engagement, evidence interpretation, adaptive planning and continuous learning to strengthen the conditions for sustainable translation.
